Family Dinner sits in the pause before harm.

Rather than focusing on the aftermath of domestic violence, the film looks earlier, inside the moment where expectation and tension build and behaviour still has a chance to shift.

The work avoids confrontation and spectacle, staying close to small, human actions. Performance carries the weight and the absence of violence becomes the message.
