CLIENT: Aquila Young
A film about our small place in a world shaped by forces far bigger than us.
SYNOPSIS
A visual piece made to accompany Aquila Young's EP, Every Last Echo explores our place within something far bigger than ourselves. Moving through life, nature and the forces we can't control, it sits in the tension between human will and surrender — and, eventually, some acceptance that life keeps moving whether we're ready or not.
NOTE
This was one of the more instinctive things I've made. I was less interested in telling a literal story than in creating a feeling around scale, mortality and surrender. The challenge was making something abstract still feel emotionally grounded. I wanted the natural world to feel beautiful, overwhelming and slightly indifferent to us.
