SYNOPSIS

An injured dancer refuses to stop preparing for a performance, pushing through pain, exhaustion and isolation in pursuit of something better. The film looks at the unseen work behind success — the repetition, sacrifice and mental strain — and the strange truth that no matter how far you get, you're always chasing what comes next.

NOTE

I made this when I was struggling to find time and energy for my own work. I'd always been fascinated by the idea of overnight success, when really there are years of unseen work behind it. I wanted to make something about persistence — though I think I was reminding myself to keep going too.
